I'm Daniel Drezner's Doppleganger

So I took the same quiz as Daniel Drezner and got the same result - I'm an enterpriser, which means that I'm a rabid Republican but don't realize it. I'm an enterpriser because I t think that big companies aren't as big a danger as Islamic exteremists and that just saying "Nice Doggie" without holding a big stick isn't the best strategy. Or something. Well, that's about as good analogy as the quiz, which isn't a surprise since it's just another lousy online collection of simplistic questions.

I then went on to get 8 out of 8 at the ABC online Shia-Sunni quiz -- just like Mr Drezner. So Mr Drezner, you're not alone.

Hmm, could it be that people who can answer 8 questions about who's Sunni and who's Shia are enterprisers?

Hey, I'm an enterpriser too. But then again, if you had given me the descriptions of a white male business owner who goes to church and thinks people can make it on their own, that makes it pretty simple to pick a category.

Was it just me, or were a lot of those questions rather, leading...

Immigrants contribute to the country, but illegal immigration is bad for the country. Where was that question?

Politicians often lose touch, but does that mean I don't trust politics at all? If Pew draws conclusions off results like these based on questions like these, it's no wonder that polls are always off.

Are you sure you aren't his doppelganger?

I too am an enterpriser. But I agree with Jim Durbin, the questions didn't seem to construct a set of "orthogonal" possibilities. I guess I agree with you that it was "another lousy online collection of simplistic questions." And people say I am not agreeable.
