While at the beach, you could enjoy such traditional Pakistani diversions as cricket and windsurfing. I think most of the villas along this stretch were owned by wealthy Pakistani's who sent their children to America for their college education, which is who probably brought the windsurfer back. The cricketeers were nice enough to invite us to play, and after batting a few into the ocean, our bus driver who I always assumed was in their intellegence service, and who was the only official non-officer with us that day, uncorked a beauty of a pitch that crossed me up and knocked my wicket off, thus ending my brief but glorious stint as the batsman.
