I can't remember if this picture was taken at a carpet store where they had a demonstration of weaving, or at the carpet convention they had at the hotel. The convention was simply amazing, as they thousands of carpets on display, and a couple of dealers took us around to show off. For a while there, I was pretty expert on persian carpets, though not near as expert as this guy. I only bought 3 carpets while I was there -- in hindsight I should have bought more and larger ones because the ones I do have are gorgeous but no bigger than 4'X6'. BTW, he's weaving a fine Bokhara with 25 by 25 knots per inch.
