This is one of the views from my hotel window. The view was beautiful. Fortunately for you, the smell doesn't come through in the picture. The smell of Karachi is hard to describe beyond a full-bodied pungent stink. It was a mix of vehicle (car, truck, motorcycle - none of which ever had a tune-up) exhaust, manure (horse, donkey, camel, and yes, human), smoke, human BO, fish market, and other less pleasant organic reeks.
