Another view from my hotel window. We stayed in a Holiday Inn -- it was next to the American Consulate. The Sheraton is the large building on the right. The Ramada Inn is out of the picture to the far right. All those american hotels seemingly in the middle of nowhere reminded me of my stay at a Holiday Inn in Tucumcari, NM -- except for the Hotel Intercontinental. It's the large building on the left. We ate there once - the cuisine was a little too continental for our tastes: lentil curd for desert. Yumm, Yumm.
